Impacto de un programa de formación en inteligencia artificial en el desempeño de empleados administrativos del sector salud: un análisis pre-post intervención

Resumen
La inteligencia artificial (IA) está transformando los procesos organizativos en múltiples sectores, incluido el ámbito hospitalario, donde su adopción depende en gran medida de la preparación y competencias del personal. Este estudio evalúa el impacto de un programa de formación en IA sobre el desempeño de empleados administrativos en un hospital colombiano. Se implementó una intervención formativa orientada a desarrollar habilidades prácticas en el uso de herramientas de IA aplicables a la gestión administrativa, y su efectividad se analizó mediante una diferencia de medias pre y post intervención. Los resultados muestran una mejora significativa en el desempeño tras la formación, lo que resalta la importancia de diseñar programas de capacitación que favorezcan la transferencia del aprendizaje al puesto de trabajo. Estos hallazgos ofrecen implicaciones relevantes para la gestión del talento y el diseño de estrategias de formación en el sector salud en contextos de transformación digital.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping organizational processes across multiple sectors, including healthcare, where its adoption largely depends on staff readiness and competencies. This study evaluates the impact of an AI training program on the performance of administrative staff at a Colombian hospital. A training intervention was implemented, aimed at developing practical skills in the use of AI tools applicable to administrative management. Its effectiveness was assessed through a pre- and post-intervention mean difference analysis. The results indicate a significant improvement in employee performance after the training, highlighting the importance of designing training programs that effectively transfer learning to the workplace.
