Identidad cultural, una mirada al arte rupestre

Abstract

Este estudio presenta la sistematización de una estrategia didáctica desarrollada con colectivos artísticos en la Institución Educativa Gallardo, en el municipio de Suaza (Huila), entre 2018 y 2024, orientada al fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural mediante la resignificación del arte rupestre, especialmente los petroglifos. La investigación se inscribe en un enfoque cualitativo de sistematización de experiencias, que permitió reconstruir, interpretar y reflexionar críticamente sobre la práctica pedagógica desarrollada en el territorio. Se emplearon técnicas como entrevistas semiestructuradas, grupos focales, observación participante y diario de campo. El análisis se organizó a partir de las categorías identidad cultural, ancestralidad, desarrollo humano y lo artístico. El hallazgo más significativo evidencia que el trabajo pedagógico mediado por el arte y el territorio fortalece el sentido de pertenencia, la memoria ancestral y la conciencia cultural de los estudiantes. Se concluye que la estrategia contribuye al desarrollo humano integral y a la resignificación del territorio como aula expandida y espacio de memoria viva.

This study presents the systematization of a didactic strategy developed with artistic collectives at the Gallardo Educational Institution, located in the municipality of Suaza (Huila), between 2018 and 2024, aimed at strengthening cultural identity through the re-signification of rock art, particularly petroglyphs. The research is framed within a qualitative approach to the systematization of experiences, which allowed for the reconstruction, interpretation, and critical reflection on the pedagogical practice developed in the territory. Techniques such as semi-structured interviews, focus groups, participant observation, and field journals were employed. The analysis was organized around the categories of cultural identity, ancestry, human development, and artistic expression. The most significant finding shows that pedagogical work mediated by art and territory strengthens students’ sense of belonging, ancestral memory, and cultural awareness. It is concluded that this strategy contributes to integral human development and to the re-signification of the territory as an expanded classroom and a space of living memory.
