Resumen:
This project emerged from the need to involve preschool-age students from day-care center Fundadores in a second language learning process, in which this one not only is taught in a recreational and creative way but also having real context elements such as ICT.
This project began with a pre-test taken by the students’ sample required to carry out this research, preschool in this case, in order to determine the student’s prior knowledge about English. Based on the pre-test results, surveys and interviews were conducted to the students as well as to the teachers with the intention to recognize and detect the feasibility and veracity of the project. The pre-test allowed to detect the student’s weaknesses in the learning and motivational levels since the average communicative and understanding development in English were lower and monotonous in the population.
Thanks to these instruments, it could be established what type of tools and strategies are truly meaningful for the learning-teaching process of a second language. Besides, they helped establish how to transform English classes into a magical, real, interactive, dynamic, and pleasant experience for the students.
It was learned that technological tools offer an amount of resources and strategies for the teachers and students to immerse in totally English native-like environment which is innovated by games, songs, videos, experiments, tales, and images where students and teachers can achieve a high quality English learning-teaching process.
